Essential Documents for E-visa

Validity of Armenia E-visa 

Armenia provides two E-visa types with varying validity and stay durations.

• 21-day E-visa: The validity of this single entry visa is 90 days, and the maximum stay duration is 21 days.
• 120-day E-visa: The validity of this single entry visa is 180 days with a maximum stay duration of 120 days. 

Difference between Validity and Stay Duration

• Validity: Validity is the time frame during which the visa holder can use his visa to enter Armenia.
• Stay duration: The stay duration indicates the number of days a visa holder is allowed to stay in Armenia following their entry.

This can be better understood with the help of the below example:

• Validity: 6 months (from Feb 1 to July 30)
• Stay duration: 30 days

With this visa, you are allowed to enter the country at any point between February 1 and July 30 (the validity period). However, after entering, your stay is limited to 30 days per visit, regardless of whether the visa remains valid beyond that timeframe.

If you enter the country on April 1, you must leave by April 30, even though your visa remains valid until July 30. If the visa allows for multiple visits, you may re-enter the country during the validity term, but each visit is limited to a maximum stay of 30 days.

1. You can extend your Armenia E-visa or regular visa for up to 60 days after its expiry date. 
2. E-visas allow a maximum stay of 120 days, which can be extended to a total of 180 days.
3. To extend your visa, you need to contact the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
