Armenia E-visa Policy

Armenia, officially called the Republic of Armenia, is a country located in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. Nestled at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, it boasts a rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and a history that dates back to ancient times. Armenia’s E-visa policy simplifies the visa process for travelers by allowing them to obtain visas online. Go through the information below to get detailed information about Armenia's visa, processing time, validity, stay duration, etc.

What is Armenia’s E-visa?

Armenia e-visa, is an official document issued by Armenia granting travellers entry for a specified duration based on set requirements. Armenia provides different types of e-visas to suit various travel needs. Travelers can easily obtain an Armenia e-Visa by applying online through the Armenia e-Visa website. The process requires uploading the necessary documents and completing the payment of the applicable fees.

Countries exempted from E-visa requirement

Armenia classifies certain nations as ‘unilateral exempted countries’ and exempts them from the e-visa requirement. These nations' citizens are permitted to enter Armenia for up to 180 days annually without a visa.

Countries with E-Visa-Free Agreements

Visas are not required for entry into Armenia by nationals of countries that have bilateral or multilateral agreements on a visa-free regime. However, the most crucial element in evaluating whether their residents need a visa is the kind of passport they currently possess. They can enter Armenia without a visa and remain there for up to 180 days if their passport type is eligible.

Difference between Validity and Stay Duration

This can be better understood with the help of the below example:

With this visa, you are allowed to enter the country at any point between February 1 and July 30 (the validity period). However, after entering, your stay is limited to 30 days per visit, regardless of whether the visa remains valid beyond that timeframe.

If you enter the country on April 1, you must leave by April 30, even though your visa remains valid until July 30. If the visa allows for multiple visits, you may re-enter the country during the validity term, but each visit is limited to a maximum stay of 30 days.
